Los shorts de encaje se han convertido en una de las tendencias más vistas en blogs y street-style durante este verano. Son cómodos, frescos y combinan con camisas, camisetas y tops.
Compré estos en abril y los estrené con medias, camisa y blazer, pero quería esperar a llevar un look más veraniego para enseñarlos en el blog. Me los he puesto varias veces y en esta ocasión los llevé para ir a tomar algo con mi novio.

Lace shorts become one of the most viewed trends in blogs and street-style this summer. They are comfy, fresh and you can wear them with shirts, t-shirts and tops.
I bought those in April and I wore them with tights, shirt and blazer, but I wanted to wear them in a more summery outfit to publish on the blog. I've worn them several times, in this ocasion I went out for a drink with my boyfriend.

Hoy es mi cumple y por eso toca un post un poco diferente: algunos de mis looks playeros de este verano. Para ir a la playa, siempre me decanto por la comodidad, sobre todo si voy a playas vírgenes a las que hay que andar bastante.
(Este es mi primer post programado, espero que funcione).

Today is my birthday, and that's why the post is a little bit different: some of my beach outfits from this summer. I always prefer comfy looks, especially if I go to virgin beaches where you have to walk a lot to get there.
(This is my first programmed post, I hope it works).

Pink shorts

Estos shorts los llevaba solo para la playa o la piscina, pero cuando vi este outfit de Leti, quise darles un toque diferente al de "look playero" de siempre. Los combiné con una blusa  de cuando mi madre era joven y me gustó el resultado.

I used to wear those shorts to go to the beach or to the swimming pool, however, when I saw this outfit from Leti, I wanted to wear them in a different way. So I mixed them with a blouse that was from my mum a long time ago, and I liked the result.

Peplum top

La silueta peplum se popularizó en los 40, y esta temporada ha resurgido en faldas, vestidos y blusas, marcando las formas femeninas. Diseñadores como Lanvin, Christian Dior, Thierry Mugler, Givenchy, Burberry, entre otros, han incluido esta silueta voluptuosa y elegante en sus colecciones de Otoño-Invierno 2012/2013, y es que esta tendencia va a pisar fuerte durante de la próxima temporada. 

Peplum became popular during the 40s, and this season it has reappeared in skirts, dresses and tops, standing out the femenine silhouette. Designers as Lanvin, Christian Dior, Thierry Mugler, Givenchy, Burberry and others, included this voluptuous and elegant silhouette in their Fall-Winter 2012/2013 collections, this trend is going to make a big impact the next season.

Special dress

Este vestido es muy especial porque me lo regaló una muy buena amiga que ha venido a visitarme estos días. Han sido unos días de no parar: playa, fiesta, terracitas y la voy a echar mucho de menos. El vestido lo estrené anoche en la cena de despedida. Me encanta la forma y el estampado, pero principalmente el detalle de la espalda.

This dress is very special because it was a gift from a really good friend, who visited me those days. It has been a non-stop: beach, party, terraces,... and I'll miss her so much. I wore the dress last night at the farewell dinner. I love it, especially the detail on the back.

Floral jumpsuit

Me estoy dando cuenta de que este verano me decanto mucho por prendas con flores. Este mono ya tiene dos añitos, pero lo sigo usando un montón, es comodísimo y perfecto tanto para ir a dar un paseo como para bajar a la playa.

I'm realizing that this summer I'm wearing lots of clothes with floral print. I bought this jumpsuit two years ago, but it's so comfy that I'm still using it a lot to go for a walk, to the beach, etc.

Peach and midi skirt

Midi y melocotón. Esta falda no podría ser más perfecta. Después del éxito del pasado otoño-invierno, las faldas midi se han convertido en un imprescindible esta temporada (Dolce&Gabbana y Alberta Ferretti, entre otros, las incluyeron en sus colecciones). Y el melocotón se está convirtiendo en mi color del verano, me enamoro de todo lo que veo en este color. Así que cuando mi abuela me dio esta falda fue un flechazo. Decidí combinarla con mis sandalias de lazos para crear un look más dulce, pero tiene infinitas opciones.

Midi and peach. This skirt couldn't be more perfect. After their success in the last fall-winter, midi skirts become essential this season (Dolce&Gabbana and Alberta Ferretti, included it in their collections). And peach is my summer colour, I fall in love with everything in that colour. So when my granny gave me the skirt, it was love at first sight. I wore it with my bows sandals to create a sweet look, but it has endless options.

Estas alpargatas están hechas a mi gusto, las compré blancas y las forré con el estampado que más me gustaba (si os apetece, puedo hacer un post con el proceso). Me apetecía mucho estrenarlas, pero hace tanto calor que nunca encontraba el momento. Me las puse hace un par de días y, aunque son comodísimas, en verano mis pies necesitan sandalias, así que las tendré que guardar unas semanas.

I bought those espadrilles in white and I covered them with a pattern that I really like (if you want, I can publish a post explaining the process). I really wanted to wear them, but it's so hot now and I hadn't since a couple of days ago. Although they are really comfy, my feet need sandals in summer, so I'm going to keep them in the wardrobe for some weeks.
